Delete your ASKRE account

ASKRE is the mobile app of ASK Real Estate W.L.L. in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This page explains how to delete your account, what is removed, and what we keep.

Delete it in the app

If you no longer have the app, email info@askre.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my ASKRE account. Include your full name and the phone number on your account. We reply by email when it is done.

What is removed

• Your sign-in. Your email and password stop working in the ASKRE app and on the ASKRE web portal.
• Your access. It is not reopened unless you ask us.
• Notifications. Your phone stops receiving ASKRE notifications.

What we keep, and why

Some information is part of records we are required to keep, or that also belong to someone else, such as your landlord, your tenant or a company you work with. We keep these after your account is deleted:

• Tenants and landlords: your name and contact details as they appear on your lease, and your leases, invoices, payments, statements, facility bookings, maintenance requests and documents.
• Agencies, agents, vendors and developers: your company record and contact details, your application, and your bookings, commissions, purchase orders, contracts and documents.
• All accounts: a record that the account was deleted, when, and any reason you gave. We keep this for security and to answer any later dispute.

We keep these only for the legal, accounting and contract reasons above, and for as long as the law requires us to.
